Fagor dishwasher error codes are critical indicators that help users identify and rectify issues with their appliances, crucial for ensuring efficient operation.
Codes List
The errors and warnings are indicated in the thermometers display by the following codes. All errors disappear when switching off the machine, but the error could appear again if it is not corrected.
W Models
1: Door open. The ON/OFF LED lights up for 0.5 seconds and then remains unlit for 2 seconds before lighting up again. This continues as long as the door is open and the selected cycle is unfinished.
2: Tank fill. The ON/OFF LED light up twice for 0.5 seconds each time and then remains unlit for 2 seconds, then lighting up again twice. This continues while the water in the tank does not reach the correct level in the specified time.
3: Tank drainage. The ON/OFF LED lights up three times for 0.5 seconds each time and then remains unlit for 2 seconds, then lighting up again three times. This continues while the drainage pump does not drain the water in the tank to the correct level in the specified time.
4: Boiler heating. The ON/OFF LED lights up four times for 0.5 seconds each time and then remains unlit for 2 seconds, then lighting up again four times. This continues while the water in the boiler does not reach the correct temperature in the specified time.
5: Tank heating. The ON/OFF LED lights up five times for 0.5 seconds each time and then remains unlit for 2 seconds, then lighting up again five times. This continues while the water in the tank does not reach the correct temperature in the specified time.
E1/BP: Faulty boiler temperature probe (Not detected or out of range [23ºF-392ºF]).
E2/TP: Faulty tank temperature probe (Not detected or out of range [23ºF-392ºF]).
E3/BO: Boiler overheating (>210ºF).
E4/TO: Tank overheating(>197ºF).
E5/BH: Boiler heating failure.
E6/TH: Tank heating failure.
E7/DR: Draining error. After 2 minutes with drain cycle the level of the tank has not dropped.
E8/BF: The boiler does not fill. After 8 minutes the boiler is not full.
E9/TF: The tank does not fill.
E10/RS: Rinse error. The boiler level does not decrease during the rinse cycle.
A4: Temperature probe open alarm. Verify proper connections at the circuit board and probe sensor.
A5: Temperature probe short-circuit alarm. Replace temperature probe.
LFA086XL Model
The dishwasher can to signal a number of malfunctions by turning on various indicator lights, as described below.
E1: Acquastop failure. The anti-flooding system has tripped (only for models fitted with this feature). Activates in case of water leaks. Contact the technical assistance center.
E2: Safety level. The system limiting the water level in the dishwasher has tripped. Interrupt the current program. Switch off the dishwasher, switch it back on again, program a new cycle and press start. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E3: Water heating malfunction. The water is not heated or is incorrectly heated. Repeat the washing program; if the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E4: Water temperature monitoring malfunction. Interrupt the current program. Switch off the dishwasher, switch it back on again, program a new cycle and press start. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E5: Water intake malfunction. The appliance does not take in water or does so incorrectly. Make sure the water connections are correct, that the water supply tap is open and that the fi lter is not clogged. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E6: Water pump-out malfunction. The appliance does not pump out the water or does so incorrectly. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed and that the siphon and fi lters are not clogged. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E7: Turbine flow-regulator malfunction. The appliance is unable to precisely measure the quantity of incoming water. Interrupt the current program and switch off the dishwasher. Switch it back on again, program a new cycle and press start. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E8: Alternate washing system malfunction. Interrupt the current program and switch off the dishwasher. Switch it back on again, program a new cycle and press start. If the problem persists, contact the technical assistance center.
E9: Water intake system malfunction. Contact the technical assistance center.

Troubleshooting
The steps to be followed in the event of a fault or operating error are described below. The possible causes and possible solutions are listed in the following table. In the event of doubt, or if you are unable to resolve the problem, please contact the technical service.
The machine does not come on.
- There is no power supply. Check whether the magneto-thermal circuit breaker has been triggered.
- The fuses have blown. Call the technical service to analyse the reason why.
- Main switch open. Close switch.
The machine does not fill with water.
- Water entrance valve closed. Open the water valve.
- Rinse nozzles blocked. Clean nozzles and check branches for build-up of lime.
- Solenoid valve filter blocked. Call the technical service to clean the filter.
- Rinse pump faulty. Call the technical service to replace the pressure switch.
- Pressostat is broken.
